Medical Defense
Advocate, MD provides legal defense for investigations and proceedings of improper Medicare/Medicaid billing and abuse, disciplinary proceedings, audits and Government Agency Investigations through its Regulatory Proceedings Coverage endorsement.
This endorsement pays on behalf of the Insured so there are no out of pocket expenses for the physician or group and no deductible or co-insurance provision. Fines and penalties are included as part of this endorsement which carriers its own limit of liability.

With the Regulatory Proceedings Coverage endorsement, Texas Medical Board (TMB) coverage will increase from $20,000 per incident and $60,000 aggregate to $100,000 per incident and $100,000 aggregate for individual physicians. In addition, this endorsement will include coverage for fines and penalties.
